• Service Order: Winterization must be ordered no later than 1-week in advance before freezing temperatures to guarantee service.
• Dewinterization: YOU MUST CALL 1-WEEK IN ADVANCE TO SCHEDULE YOUR DEWINTERIZATION.
• Payment: Due to the time sensitivity of the upcoming winter weather we must receive payment before we can schedule your winterization services. You may pay with check, cash, debit/credit card. Debit/credit cards will be charged a 3% processing fee.
• Scheduling: We will use your payment receipt for scheduling purposes. Your order will let us know what package you desire but your payment will serve as proof of scheduling services.
• Keys: We will need your keys to start and run your boat. We will not schedule service without keys.
• Boat Cover: If you wish to have your boat covered after winterization there will be a $25.00 charge for service.
• Engine Hours: All engine hours will be documented at the time of winterization.
• Proof of Service: We will leave a tag on the steering wheel of your boat with the date of winterization.

REMEMBER:

1. Manufacturers strongly suggest these MAINTENANCE items to be changed as follows:

• Impeller (to prevent overheating) - minimum every 2 years.
• Bellows and Boot - every 3 years (Insurance companies have disallowed claims on sinking or sunk boats due to boots not being changed every 3 years) Check with your insurance company.
• Lower unit gear lube - every 2 years.
• Oil change - every 100 hours (after 50 hours for your first oil change with a new boat)
• Gas Tank- full fuel tanks to reduce condensation in storage.

HELP US TO HELP YOU:

1. Fill your gas tank upon your last usage of the season to comply with manufacturer recommendations.
2. Please leave your key with us at the marina or notify us if it is already here or stored in your boat/dockbox.
3. Check over the Order Form for missing information to provide a seamless transition from order to service.
4. Call at least 1 week ahead of time to schedule your DEWINTERIZATION in the spring.
